The dust has finally settled at the spectacular Dickies Arena, and if you weren't there from April 8–12, you missed one for the history books. Fort Worth didn't just host the Longines FEI Jumping and Zen Elite FEI Dressage World Cup™ Finals; it redefined what a championship atmosphere feels like.

From the roar of the crowd to the star-studded opening ceremonies featuring Lady A, the 2026 Finals were a masterclass in sport and spectacle.

The Jumping Finale: A Hometown Hero’s Masterclass

The week belonged to one man: Kent Farrington. Entering as the World No. 2, Farrington executed a strategy that was as gutsy as it was brilliant.

The "Unforgettable Ride"

While he dominated the opening speed round with Toulayna, it was his final performance aboard the 12-year-old mare Greya that left the crowd breathless. Going into the final day on Sunday, April 12, Kent was the man to beat.

The tension in Dickies Arena was thick enough to cut with a spur. After an uncharacteristic rail at the sixth fence in the first round, Kent lost his "cushion." He entered the final round with zero margin for error. In a display of "ice-cold" nerves, Farrington delivered a flawless, textbook clear. When he cleared the final oxer, the arena erupted in a Texas-sized standing ovation.

“This means a lot to me because the World Cup Final is what I grew up watching," Farrington said afterward. "I had access to video tapes of every single year... I would study all the rounds hoping I could ride like that. To be here winning it today is really special.”

This victory marked Kent’s first-ever World Cup title, leading a podium that featured Germany's Daniel Deusser in second and fellow American Katie Dinan in third.

Dressage: Precision and Grace

The Zen Elite FEI Dressage World Cup™ Final provided a beautiful counterpoint to the high-octane jumping.

• Becky Moody (GBR) and her fan-favorite partner Jagerbomb claimed the top spot in the Grand Prix Freestyle with a stellar score of 76.761%.
• USA’s Christian Simonson and Indian Rock gave the home crowd plenty to cheer for, securing a podium finish earlier in the week and proving that the future of American dressage is in very capable hands.

The event wasn't just about the ribbons. The Vendor Village was a hub of activity, featuring everything from luxury saddles to Western-inspired fashion. Between sessions, fans took in the local culture—from the daily cattle drives in the historic Stockyards to the vibrant nightlife of the Cultural District.
